Learn in Style

Many of our clients either haven’t skied before or they have but haven’t taken to the slopes in a little while so may be a little rusty. To ensure they have the confidence to go down the slopes, we wanted to find a way to make it possible for them to learn with people of the same ability whilst also having a fun holiday. We, therefore, created the programme, Learn In Style.

The programme offers specialist instruction which respects the fact that learning to ski in later life is more about building confidence in the right environment. Join others who share the same goals and learn the basics to get you out skiing on the gentle runs, before you join the rest of your party. Throughout the day there will be plenty of hot chocolate stops and long lazy lunches so don’t worry about those legs aching!

Learn In Style is available in Arosa at February Half Term and Easter, and in Grindelwald at New Year and February Half Term.

Grindelwald is a perfect resort for families and skiers of mixed ability. The resort is suited to those learning for the first time thanks to the ‘Bodmi’ beginner’s area, but there is also extensive skiing for intermediates with links to Wengen and Murren. In Grindelwald, we offer clients a choice of three fantastic hotels: the luxurious Hotel Aspen is family-friendly and located on the slopes making it the perfect choice if you want a ski-in/ski-out hotel. Hotel Belvedere is only a 5-minute walk from the town centre, known for its fantastic dining and outdoor Jacuzzi. Hotel Schweizerhof is the most traditional, boasting an elegant and chalet-style architecture. Located near to the train station giving easy access to the main ski area.

Arosa has long been a favourite with our clients due to its high quality hotels like the The Tschuggen Grand and Arosa Kulm, as well as its gentle skiing. There are 42 lifts available that explore Arosa – Lenzerheide region. The slopes are very varied with challenging blacks, relaxed wide blues and a mixture of reds. There are also a couple of snow parks to keep the teens entertained so whatever your family's ability, there will be something to suit everyone!

If you do pick up your old moves quickly, then don’t worry as we offer Complimentary Ski Guiding in all of our resorts where there are in-resort PB staff. Here is an opportunity for you to ski with friends and family in small groups but with the benefit of a ski guide to take you down the slopes. Spend the week with your PB ski manager who will take you down some of the best routes, as well as recommending the finest mountain restaurants.
