Teenage Ski Guiding

Teenage Ski Guiding

Our programme is designed for teenagers and young adults who no longer require traditional ski school but would like the opportunity to ski the best areas in the mountain with a social group of like-minded people. The programme continues off the mountain with two organised social evening events.

New for winter 2023 Powder Byrne launched its Teenage Guiding programme. The programme offers teenagers and young adults from the ages of 16 – 19 years a professional guiding experience led by a qualified ski guide in the area. The group will be shown the best ski routes for the conditions each day and taken to the best lunch spots to suit the group’s requirements.

We have recently introduced an exciting addition to our offerings for the winter of 2023. Known as the Teenage Guiding programme, this initiative is specifically designed for teenagers and young adults aged 16 to 19 years. We hear from clients that some teens would prefer to ski with friends rather than with Mum and Dad. Teenage Guiding provides the perfect solution for parents, who can rest assured that everyone is skiing in a supervised environment, albeit with more freedom and flexibility than in our younger years programmes.

Teenage Guiding brings together confident skiers who are looking to enjoy a variety of slopes, fun group lunches and great camaraderie. They are joined by a guide who will lead them around the mountain and keep a watchful eye over them whilst they will continue to progress with their skiing; there is less emphasis on instruction.

In addition to guiding the group on the slopes, the qualified ski guides also ensure that the participants are taken to the finest lunch spots that align with their preferences. This not only allows the young skiers to fuel up and recharge during their skiing adventures but also encourages social interaction within the group.

Beyond the exhilarating skiing activities, the Teenage Guiding programme extends its offerings to the evenings as well. Two organised social events are arranged to provide a platform for the participants to connect and interact with their fellow skiers. These events are meticulously planned to foster a sense of camaraderie and enable the group to bond over shared experiences and a mutual love for skiing.
