The hottest and driest month of the year in Zanzibar, February brings with it an excellent time to relax at the beach, head out on a dolphin excursion in Kimikazi or attend the annual ‘Sauti za Busara’ music festival which takes place in Stone Town. Base yourself at the elegant The Residence Zanzibar, situated on a pristine, palm-tree lined white sand beach with a unique and contemporary style with a kid’s club situated inside the hotel to keep those aged 3-12 years entertained.

February is the perfect month to combine a beach and sight-seeing trip and is also carnival season in Tenerife. Head to Santa Cruz or Puerta de la Cruz on the northern side of the island to experience the biggest carnivals, parades and most extravagant costumes.
