Canadian Rockies, Canada - Vancouver to Banff National Park

Temperature/Season: 14°C average, spring

Few countries can compare with the natural beauty, geographic diversity, and wildlife of the Canadian Rockies and in May the mountains come into their own when the gradual melting of the snow gives way to verdant forests and vibrant wildflowers. May is also an excellent time to encounter some whales from the safety of a boat, with frequent sightings of humpbacks, minkes and belugas along the Atlantic coast. Incorporate whale-watching with visiting the unique city of Vancouver and exploring the rocky terrain of Banff National Park in one of our bespoke family itineraries.
