In the Canadian Rockies
With our exciting Air and Space programme, the world is your oyster. Imagine going on a backpacking experience, but replace the hostels with a five star luxury hotel and instead of slumming across the world it will be in envious comfort. You’ll also have a dedicated Air and Space specialist who will craft your holiday to your every desire, so you and your family can experience a holiday like nothing you’ve done before.
The Canadian Rockies is geographically diverse and you’ll find fewer countries that are as filled with natural beauty. We take our clients throughout this area and are always keen for them to visit Banff National Park because of how beautiful and typically Canadian it is. On the Banff Gondola, you can enjoy a stunning bird’s-eye view of six incredible mountain ranges, and breath-taking vistas in every direction. After an easy journey up the gondola, you can challenge yourself and the family with a beautiful hike up Banff’s Via Ferra (Italian for the Iron Path), and spend a day among the wonderful sites.
The Banff Upper Hot Springs are the most popular attraction in the park. The facilities are open year-round, and extended hours are offered during holiday seasons. The hot springs include a child’s wading area, restored 1930s-era bathhouses and extensive day-spa facilities. The Cave and Basin Centre is built around the two hot springs at the site of the park’s discovery. Visitors can view the hot springs the railroad workers discovered and then step back in time to explore the restored Edwardian bathhouse facilities. Several guide companies operate in the park, offering tours of some of the area’s most scenic lookouts and trails. These guides can ensure that visitors’ trips are safe and inspiring, whether they want to explore on foot, by horseback or snowshoe. What could be more relaxing than a soak after a scenic hike in the famous hot springs of Banff?
Jasper Park Lodge based in Fairmont has been newly renovated, so you can enjoy the sites in the lap of luxury. Whilst relaxing in one of the suites it’s possible to see, at the right time of year, eagles and hawks on their migratory routes from the USA to Alaska.
