Adventures in Australia

With so much space to explore, Australia is a country that’s full of surprises. Why not spend your time diving or snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, visiting a remote cattle station, blending your own wine, or learning how to throw a boomerang?

As you may know, we love to bring out the inner explorer in you and with our Air & Space programme in amazing Australia, we’ll do just that! If you take your family on the adventure of a life time and travel with us to the land down under, here are just some of the things you could be getting up to.

Australia is fortunate to be full of wildlife that can’t be found anywhere else, so you’re definitely in for a unique experience. On Kangaroo Island, many of the plants and animals that live there are extinct elsewhere in the world, so it really is a fascinating place to learn about all the truly unique flora and fauna.

With just a short flight and you’re in Tasmania, Australia’s smallest state but home to a huge number of activities to keep the whole family busy. Experience something quintessentially Aussie and treat yourself to a meal created by a traditional Bush Chef, who’ll prepare fresh food in ways you could never have imagined. We also highly recommend a visit to one of the many national parks on the island and you might even spot the elusive endangered Tasmanian devil?

A visit to one of Australia’s many beautiful beaches is of course a must. If you’re a keen surfer or are wanting to try something new, grab a board and head to Sydney’s Bondi Beach, one of the most iconic surf destinations in the world. Your own private surf instructor will show you the best of what Bondi has to offer, after which you can relax in the sun with a good book whilst the kids have paddle or build sand castles.

You can also venture to Heron Island, which is sure to be a relaxing retreat especially when you’re surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef and the sound of the sea lapping on the beach, what more could you possibly want? The kids can explore the island with a range of nature-based activities, giving you that extra time to relax and recharge your batteries before you decide what’s in store next.

Australia really has something for everyone; you’ll be blown away by the awe-inspiring scenery, the friendly people, and the once in a lifetime adventure you’ll be having. If you’re not ready to go home, you can always extend your stay with a trip to nearby New Zealand. No one could blame you!
